36 Years, Lola & Grandpa

This past weekend my parents came up on Friday to spend some time with us.  My mom stayed with us till Sunday. Matt snapped this photo of the three of us and it’s definitely a new favorite.  I seriously love it!

Friday the 13th was their 36th wedding anniversary.  36 entire years of marriage!  Isn’t that just so fantastic?  I certainly think so!
My mother is retiring this November and my dad isn’t too far behind before he joins her in retirement as  well.  I’m so glad for them, but to be honest I’m also glad for my own personal reasons.  Although, they only live two hours away we don’t get to see them as often as I’d like.  I want my kiddos to know and love them as I do.
Thirty-six cheers to Lola and Grandpa!

OH MY! You three ladies look so much alike. How sweet is that. I love it. What a special weekend with your folks.

How is Alice doing these days? I saw her standing hands free a few weeks ago, any walking yet?

Miss Ellie is not doing hands free or walking…i’m told to enjoy it while I can. :)

      Thanks Natalie!

Alice is going well :) She is cruising all over the place & is definitely doing a lot of hands free standing. She’s started to be brave and take two to three steps all on her own too. She’s close! Just enjoying each moment & phase as they come at her own pace.
